LoadPlate® – still going strong
LoadPlate, our reliable semi-automated loading machine was first introduced into the market in 2001. Since then, over 110 systems have been installed in over 30 countries. LoadPlate has built an enviable reliability record with systems still serving customers faithfully after 20 years in extremely harsh environments for a variety of loading needs.
Products remain undamaged with semi-automated LoadPlate
One satisfied customer who has already acquired a second LoadPlate for their use is Versowood Oy. Versowood load glulam beams into sea containers for construction sites and the end customer has high demands for product quality. “LoadPlate was chosen at our Heinola glulam plant because the equipment was already successful to live up to expectations in the previous installation in Hartola. With the previous loading operation, we had a big problem with product damage. We received a lot of feedback from customers concerning the product issues on delivery”, says Marko Järvinen, Production Manager of Versowood.
In addition, the users of the previous system had to be practiced getting the cargo intact into the container. Based on their experience in Hartola, LoadPlate was the solution to loading glulam beams also in Heinola, where the equipment loads about 25-40 sea containers per week. “In the loading process, the most important thing for us is that the products remain undamaged, the reliability of the equipment and the ease of use of the machine. These are all accomplished with LoadPlate”, adds Järvinen.
